It's quite simple, really. We have gained a huge amount of knowledge and learned many lessons over the years of running holiday lets in the wonderful county of Norfolk and those lessons always circle back to one thing...'wellbeing' means something VERY different to each of you.
And that's great! How boring would life be if every single person in the world had the same ideas to wind down, take time out and relax? For some, it's reading by the fire, taking part in a yoga class or going for a long and peaceful woodland walk. For others, it's going to the gym, baking, painting or perhaps even extreme motor cross racing!
The point is, we know that at Norfolk Bound, each of our guests have different needs and expectations and so we do our best to offer the most bespoke service we possibly can.
For example, we have 4 Woodland Lodges on site at Little Massingham Manor and only one of these cosy bolt holes has Wifi. We chose to leave out the Wifi for the others, as we found almost all of our guests were checking in saying how excited they were to totally 'switch off' and so we wanted to give you a little helping hand to do that (as we all know how tempting it is to check those emails or send a quick message to someone...)
Another example is our exciting events at Little Massingham Manor. We aim to put on as many creative events as possible througout the year, but not without full confidence that each one is going to bring something beneficial to you as our guest. This could be anything from floristry, candle making, yoga retreats, painting workshops, team building in the woods or our very popular Supper Clubs with michelin star chefs! We strive to offer a diverse range of options, ensuring that everyone who reaches out to us can find something that genuinely supports their personal wellbeing - and on that note, if there are any events or workshops you would like to see at the Manor, we would love to hear from you!
To help give us an idea of what 'wellbeing' means to the people around us, we chat to Rozzy, a devoted Yoga instructor who we are pleased to have running various yoga classes in our wonderful new studio at Little Massingham Manor in Norfolk.
With a deep passion for holistic well-being and over 6 years of experience in guiding students on their yoga journey, Rozzy is dedicated to cultivating an environment of tranquility, self-discovery, and growth. Her teaching style seamlessly blends the wisdom of traditional yoga practices with a modern approach tailored to meet the needs of each individual practitioner. In her classes, Rozzy encourages students to embrace the wisdom of their bodies, fostering a supportive environment where self-discovery and self-care intertwine. Her guiding mantra reminds practitioners to listen to their inner voice and honor the unique rhythms of their being...
What does 'Wellbeing' mean to you, Rozzy?
"For me, taking time for myself has become a non-negotiable part of my wellbeing. It’s in those quiet moments that I feel most grounded, able to reflect, recharge, and truly listen to what I need. Life can feel overwhelming, but carving out even a little space just for me helps me stay balanced and more present in everything I do. I’ve learned that self-care isn’t indulgent, it’s a lifeline that keeps me from burning out. Prioritizing myself has made me more connected, not just to my own needs, but also to the people and goals I care about."
