Another exceptional example of what can be created from the shell of a traditional Shepherd’s Hut! Both the interior and exterior have been very cleverly designed to make full use of the surroundings, and have been built largely with wood sourced from the grounds and locally.
To create even more living and sleeping area space, 2 beautifully crafted bedrooms have been attached to the hut. These bedrooms are absolutely stunning, and open out on to the gorgeous decking. One bedroom has a king-sized bed, and the other bedroom 2 beautifully made adult sized bunk beds. A hammock is hung outside one of the bedrooms, to create a lovely relaxing space to look out across the meadows and paddocks. The design has created a really fun and tranquil ambience.
The modern bathroom sits next to the delightful open plan kitchen and living space. The kitchen counters are superbly carved from Sequoia wood , and there is a wonderfully innovative electric stove which acts as heating for the property.
The decking has been created to make maximum use of the quite sublime and tranquil surroundings of the exclusive grounds. The wood burning hot-tub sits within the decking, and has spectacular views across the wild meadows where you will spot deer, hare and other local wildlife. The wood burning sauna is found just off the decking, and is a welcome escape from normality!
There is a firepit and hand-crafted wooden table, to entertain, set just off the decking. This hut feels like an exceptional treat, and was completed in October 2023. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape.
