Have you ever wondered why Mint is so great for calming your tummy? Or how does Lavender has natural healing vapours that can soothe a headache or calm your worries away? And which herbs can really soothe menopausal symptoms?
Come and join Katie at the beautiful workshop space at Norfolk Bound, Little Massingham and learn all about the wonderful healing powers of herbs whilst you plant up your very own Healing Herb kitchen planter.
Joining Katie is leading local Nutritionist Jane Rose-Land (BSc Nutritional Medicine, BANT, CNHC reg) from ‘Nutrition in Norfolk’ who will be sharing some top tips on how the right herbs and nutrition can help your body create ‘Happy Hormones’. Our Hormones deserve special support from the superior compounds contained in herbs and spices:
• amazing anti-oxidant properties
• biochemical oestrogen detoxification compounds
• brain, skin and hair support and more…
‘Nature’s basket’ of the Herbs that you will be planting can lower our risk of all degenerative diseases. Join us to feel enlivened and ready to work through hormone challenges as nature intended!
Starting with your very own oval planter, whilst planting up your Herbs (Mint, Basil, Parsley, Rosemary), Katie will share her knowledge about the importance of ‘No Peat’ compost and the vital need to keep our soil in tip-top-condition.
This wonderfully aromatic and therapeutic experience will also teach you all about the Historical, Mythical, Nutritional and Medicinal virtues of each herb as you inhale the wonderful aroma of them.
HERBS ARE AMAZING and are here to Nurture us! You really will look at herbs with completely fresh eyes!
